Methods and possibilities of testing the language level of deaf and hearing-impaired students

Abstract

Due to the fact that there is no nationwide testing of CzSL proficiency in the Czech Republic, this chapter presents several tests focusing on the sign language (SL) proficiency used around the world. The chapter concludes by showing how to work with the described test tasks during the year in regular teaching.

The chapter is developed in connection with the development of reference descriptions for CzSL.
