Abstract
The chapter presents a comparative analysis of the translations of some poems of Otokar Březina in comparison between Emil Saudek's versions and those of Otto Pick, Albert Ehrenstein, Paul Eisner, Franz Werfel and Rudolf Fuchs. Not only concrete translational solutions, but also the contexts of the translation programs and personal translational networks as well as the critical echo are examined in detail.
