Abstract
The paper is devoted to the Wolfgang Iser’s solution of a problem of a situation of a literary work of art. The attention is paid especially to the relation of a situation of a literary work of art and the real situations in a practical life.
The paper shows how and how much was Iser in his thoughts influenced by philosophy of John Langshaw Austin and Alfred North Whitehead.
