Abstract
The policy roundtable discussed the impact of COVID-19 on elections and electoral law in the Czech Republic, focusing on the following topics: Should elections be postponed during the pandemic? If yes, how to interpret the constitutional conditions and limits of the postponement of elections? The accessibility and constitutionality of elections during the pandemic - special voting methods, impact on electoral campaign. What lessons can be learned from the pandemic for the legal regulation of elections in the Czech republic? Repetition of ad hoc measures, or a shift in the debate on distance voting?
