Distance/online counselling in support of university students

Abstract

The publication deals with the issue of support for university students through distance/online counselling forms. The first chapter is focused on the general aspects of counselling services at universities, introduces the reader to the concepts of distance/online counselling and observes the differences between synchronous and asynchronous forms of services provided.

It also returns to the use of distance/online counselling in the higher education space during the COVID-19 pandemic. The following chapters deal with specific aspects of distance/online counselling for students with special needs (for students with visual and physical disabilities, students with hearing disabilities, students with specific learning disabilities, students with autism spectrum disorders, students with psychological problems).
