Abstract
The book review deals with the publication entitles Latinos: another minority by Kateřina Březinová, which undoubtedly fills a gap in the Czech specialized literature market. In it, the author introduces readers to the development of Latin American immigration to the USA between the mandates of Presidents John F.
Kennedy and Donald Trump (1961-2021) and skillfully guides them through the key issues related to the migration of Hispanics to North America and their presence there. The text is written lucidly and clearly articulated.
Individual chapters are introduced with quotations from historical and contemporary figures, including the giants of American politics Benjamin Franklin, Barack Obama, activist Blanca Vasquez, and Ibero-Americanist Suzanne Oboler. This review critically assesses the book against the backdrop of the latest information in the field and the history of ideas.
