Abstract
The covid-19 pandemic and the "new reality" associated with it require increased efforts by teachers in the educational process in a distance format, and thus present various opportunities and challenges. Distance learning has contributed to the development of digital literacy and served as an impetus for innovations in teaching methods, content and evaluation.
In modern conditions, the application of information and communication technologies (ICT) in education has an increasingly significant impact on the quality and competitiveness of the national education system. The integration of Czech education into the world education system is related to compliance with the basic requirements of state and international standards and rules.
