Abstract

Discussions about contemporary Greece are often limited to either the economic or migration crisis. In Greece, both caused widespread poverty and unemployment in some social strata, gave rise to an unusually strong wave of radicalism and violence, and migration fundamentally changed the composition of the country's population.

However, how the phenomenon of the crisis is reflected in Greek literature, or if at all, was discussed by Greek writers Jannis Palavos and Nikos Panajotopoulos in an online meeting on February 17, 2021.
