Abstract
Due to a non-existing interconnection between the Repository of CU and the Information System of CU we had to find a new way of acquiring ETD's metadata. The perfect solution seemed to be a connection between the Repository and the Central Catalogue of CU.
Because of compliance to existing metadata standards it was necessary to develop a conversion system (from Marc21 format to Dublin Core Metadata Standard)
