During the six years of the drama seminar at the Institute of Czech Studies, we staged a total of six student performances: "The Conference," "Europeana," "Tales from the Bar," "Three Portraits of Božena Němcová," "Four Ballads from Erben's Kytice" and "Diary of a Quick Man." The article presents the full process of creating a performance from scratch, starting with script preparation all the way to its realization onstage before an audience. The Covid pandemic changed our work significantly: we were forced to adopt a new method of presenting the performance, first via Zoom and then on video.
We accepted the changing conditions for teaching and learning as a challenge.
