Abstract
Patristic and contemporary sources are brought into conversation, as the author exlores what constitutes the gift and the task of being human. Theologies of grace and freedom are applied to the self that needs to live relationships, to see the image of God in others, and to mature on the journey from the Fall to Renewal.
