Abstrakt
Direct and indirect allusions to myths, fairy tales and legends are characteristic of Libuše Moníková's narrative style. The author tries to revive the old myths in her language as modern, surprising and original stories.
This technique serves to characterize the figures without wordy descriptions. It alludes to prototypical situations and very often reproduces parts of them in a new version with a hitherto unknown shot.
So she often stays with the old constellations of characters, but the actual stories are often enlivened by modern everyday life and current problems. Mythological diversity often serves as a hidden criticism.
