Abstract

The contribution was focused on accentuating the characteristic features of contemporary preschool education. The changing role of the teacher, child and family in the educational process was described.

Attention was paid to the characteristics of the preschool child's learning and the conditions that are desirable to set in kindergartens for his optimal personality development.
