Abstract
The collective monograph of workers dedicated to the preparation of future teachers at the FF UK is the first publication published by the Teaching Center of the FF UK, created in 2021. The book includes contributions from the subject didactics of the Czech language and literature, foreign languages, history and the field of pedagogical and psychological teacher training.
It offers current perspectives on domestic and foreign approaches to professional tertiary education of future pedagogues, systematization of the latest knowledge of selected branch didactics, current perspectives on the issue of didactic transformation of branch knowledge and their subsequent implementation into higher education programs. It also presents recent research dealing with didactic issues in the field, the issue of faculty teachers and pedagogical practices.
The publication also wants to point out the biggest shortcomings of teacher training and the factors influencing the adaptation of novice teachers to educational practice. Last but not least, the book strives to identify those areas where the pedagogic-psychological and disciplinary components of teacher education can communicate with each other.
