Abstract
In this podcast we discuss the impact of new media on body perception, the objectification process and eating disorders. We discuss how social media, television, and video games can be detrimental to mental health and what can be done to avoid these influences.
Caroline also told us what types of PPP exist and how the pandemic has affected their spread in the population. The results are based on her thesis "Manifestations of objectification theory on social media in women with eating disorders".
