Abstract
The article is meant to be an answer to the commentary of Chen et al. on our original paper "Ross procedure provides survival benefit over mechanical valve in adults: a propensity-matched nationwide analysis". The purpose is to clarify some uncertainties in formulations and results of the paper that could be understood in a wrong way.
Moreover, we wanted to react to the highlighted limitations associated with our original work.
