CO-TEACHING IN THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS WITH SPECIAL EDUCATION NEEDS

Abstract

The text is devoted to the issue of co-teaching (in Czech also sometimes called aspair teaching or tandem teaching). The article presents definitions of this model of teaching and the different strategies that can be encountered in practice.

It also specifically addresses the use of co-teaching for students with special educational needs. The author then presents research on co-teaching in the Czech Republic and abroad.

These focus on pupils with special educational needs, their classmates and teachers.
