In the spring of 2020, the Czech Republic was hit by the first widespread school closures and teachers had to replace their face-to-face teaching with distance learning, which many considered less suitable. The aim of our text is to analyse the experience of the Faculty of Law of Charles University with distance education and to name those aspects of online teaching that have proved so successful that it makes sense to keep them in face-to-face teaching.
We show how to specifically incorporate these aspects into faceto-face teaching in order to teach empowered by the experience of teaching during a pandemic.
