Abstract
A comprehensive encyclopaedic entry focuses on the Sorbs, a small Slavonic ethnic group in Germany. The ethnolinguistic situation in Lusatia, the history of the Sorbs and their cultural and political life are presented in detail.
The perspectives of the ethnolinguistic development of the Sorbian population are also presented. The entry includes 6 photos and a map.
An extensive list of literature on the issue of the Sorbs is also attached.
