Abstract
Jan Neuman (1938-2021) - an educator who lectured about outdoor education and outdoor learning at Charles University and abroad. He has also led and organized outdoor programmes for students and other groups.
His leading style was unique, based manily on direct experiencing and overcoming challenges. We can consider him the father of outdoor education in the Czech Republic.
