Abstract
For almost twenty years, European law has been the legal order valid on the territory of our country with all its specificities. Including application priority over national law.
Nevertheless, its importance is not always appreciated. This is evidenced, among other things, by the lack of commentary literature compared to the fields of national law.
There are therefore at least two good reasons why we decided to create the presented commentary to serve our legal practice in particular to orientate in EU law, the importance of which is only being recognized in everyday legal life. The presented commentary is published on the occasion of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU in the second half of 2022.
