Abstract

Accounts on social networks are so important to many people that they would see blocking them as a personal tragedy. They would lose all messages with their loved ones, photos and other content they have shared, and all other useful functionality.

However, an even bigger "disaster" could be the blocking of a user's social network account for entrepreneurs who use social networks as a marketing tool. Deleting their account would deprive them of the ability to reach new and existing customers, expand their business portfolio, or place product placement on their profile.

The good news, however, is that while blocking an account may seem irreversible, it can often be reversed with a little skill and the necessary knowledge. In our article, we present options for defending against account blocking.
