Abstract

One of the main questions relating to legal acts against an absent person is when that person will receives the legal acts. Before that time, the legal action cannot produce the desired consequences, and it is therefore in the interest of all persons acting legally to know exactly when the other person (or other persons) has been reached.

In this article, we will explain when an e-mail message is received, as it may also involve a legal act (e.g. withdrawal from a contract, acceptance of a proposal to conclude a contract, waiver of a debt, etc.). After reading the post, it should be clear to the reader when an email containing a legal action that is sent to you or that you send to someone will be legally delivered.
