This trend is evident, inter alia, in crimes related to the child sexual abuse. The proliferation of child pornography is a long-standing problem that is becoming increasingly acute in today's digital age. The European Commission has taken a strong stance on this form of criminality. This is evidenced by the controversial draft regulation from May this year.
