3D modeling and 3D printing at gymnasiums

Abstract

In the contribution, we will present the possibilities of working with computer 3D modeling and subsequent 3D printing in secondary schools, especially in gymnasiums. We will show the use of 3D printing for the creation of educational 3D models for mathematics instructions.

Students can also be directly involved in the production of 3D models. Creation itself requires the mastery of geometric principles.

In the contribution, we will also present the successful project Training of spatial abilities for teaching stereometry.
