The paper provides examples of studies using remote sensing data from different platforms (satellite, aeroplane and drone) for landscape change analysis. Long-term changes in the landscape mosaic in the Polabí region are analysed using archival and contemporary aerial data.
The high operability and very high spatial resolution of the drone data allow monitoring of changes in vegetation species diversity in the Krkonoše Mts. tundra. Combination of satellite data with extensive spatial coverage with spatially detailed data from drones allow for real-time monitoring of fire in České Švýcarsko national park.
