The international conference entitled "Automation of sources in journalistic discourse - examples of good practic" (TL05000057-V3) took place on 27 October 2022 in the building of Czech Radio (Vinohradská 12) and in online form on the Zoom platform. The main objective of this international conference was to present the project outputs/results so far and to confront them with the results/outputs of research teams abroad.

The presentation by Belen Lopez Garrida and Rayan Arnaout from Switzerland, who presented the "News Pilot" project, was very useful. Both of them are working in the Technology and Innovation Department of the EBU, the headquarters of the European Broadcasting Union, which brings together public service media (it has 112 member organisations in 56 countries and 31 affiliates in Asia, Africa, Australia and America). Their 'News Pilot' service allows editors from participating organisations to work with news outputs from public service media from across Europe. This combines a large pool of current news content with automatic translation, contextual monitoring and search tools. As a result it provides journalists in newsrooms with direct access to information from the entire geographical region.
