Abstract
This paper is focused on the seemingly ordinary and insignificant sounds of our environment, whether we listen to them in nature or the city. It offers the answer why we are often fascinated by our vague, transmissive, buzzing, and pulsating surroundings.
Relying on the idea s of two philosophers, the paper identifies a certain kind of rhythm in this indeterminate confusion and explain why indulging in this rhythm is aesthetically significant.
