Abstract
The essay is concerned with the history of student´s movements since the middle ages till to the 20th century. It describes the attitude of students towards the Hussite movement, to the events in the 17th and 18th century, and in the first place in evaluates the appearance of students in important political events in modern Czech history (1939, 1948 and 1989).
