Abstract
The diagnosis of very heterogeneous and overlapping clinical pictures in neurodegenerative diseases of the brain is difficult. It is often necessary to combine findings from several examinations at the same time.
The clinical examination should be supplemented by at least a short cognitive assessment. In the Czech Republic, very short methods of up to 5 minutes are available for this: Amnesia Light and Brief Assessment (ALBA) and Naming pictures and their equipment (POBAV).
