Preliminary report on archaeological activities on the Late Period shaft tomb necropolis in Abusir, mainly the tomb of Wahibremeryneith (AW 6)

Abstrakt

The article escribes the process and results of archaeological excavations of the shaft tomb AW6 in Abusir. Among the results, there is for example the largest embalming deposit found in Egypt and an unusual unfinished yet used shaft tomb of the general Wahibra-mery-Neith.
