Abstract
The book is the third, amended edition of the first volume of the language textbook for Bachelor degree programmes in health sciences that are studied at medical faculties, in particular General Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Addictology, Nutritional Therapy and Midwifery. This volume contains texts which are based on authentic English sources, and exercises on topics that may concern all the above fields in particular, as well as some selective revision of grammar.
The users are expected to have a command of English at the secondary school level.
