Abstract
This publication presents the life of the lawyer, politician, political prisoner and exile, Dr. Bedřich Hostička, with the help of contemporary documents and photographs.
In 1950, he was sentenced in the showtrial with Dr. Milada Horáková and other personalities, which took place on the instructions of the leadership of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia.
Dr. Hostička was included in the trial as a member of the Czechoslovak Peoples Party and accused of espionage.
He spent almost 14 years in prison.
