Abstrakt
In the introduction, the author defines the concept of legal certainty through three attributes: the knowability of the law, the feasibility of the law and the stability of the law. It outlines the institutes of criminal law where the importance of legal certainty is particularly important.
Subsequently, the author gives an example of the application of legal certainty in connection with the temporal scope of criminal laws and in connection with the legal regulation of bribery in the Czech Criminal Code. On this second example, he criticizes the excessive rigidity of the legislator in regulating this criminogenic phenomenon in Czech criminal law
