Compensation for injury resulting from an work accident or occupational disease

Publication at Faculty of Law |
2022

Abstract

Life and health are the most precious things a person can have, which is why they are protected by law as absolute fundamental rights and values of a democratic state governed by the rule of law. Compensation for damages and non-pecuniary harm caused by an occupational injury or occupational disease is therefore a very important part of the legal regulation.

In this publication, experts in labour law not only focus on the theoretical background but also provide the reader with an overview of the types of compensation and other legal consequences related to compensation for injury to health. The interpretation is richly interspersed with references to case law and also draws on the experience of other practitioners.
