Abstract
The collection of Karel Teige's diaries from 1912-1925, including his travel diaries, represents a unique sequence of notes that Teige kept with more or less regularity from childhood to early adulthood, as a student at the Prague grammar school in Křemencova Street, then as a university student and above all as a budding artist who thinks about his artistic and literary activities and about art and its place in society.
