Abstract
Tobacco-free nicotine pouches are new phenomenon on the czech market with nicotine and tobacco products. These are small white bags filled with a cellulose infused with nicotine and other additives.
As nicotine pouches do not contain tobacco, they are not yet regulated by legal norms as conventional tobacco products. Due to their high availability, attractive advertising, wide range of flavors and discreet form of use they have become highly popular especially among children and adolescents.
The aim of this article is to describe the content, composition and effects of nicotine pouches, user specifics by children and adolescents and possible preventive measures in this area.
