This methodology addresses the question of how best to present cultural heritage through guided tours. Its name expresses that enabling access to historical monuments has a long tradition, which, however, needs to be developed in a creative way.
This text has two siblings. The second part, called "Many Forms of Interpretation", focuses on alternative ways of presenting and interpreting historical monuments, and the third part, "The Future of the Past", emphasizes the role of communities and volunteers in this activity.
All three methodologies are the result of a NAKI project, which was solved in the years 2018-2022 by the staff of the Czech National Heritage Institute and the Faculty of Education of Charles University.
