Abstract

The didactic transformation, where the encounter with images becomes the basis for the encounter in learning is the theme of this study. We examine the communication processes taking place in the initiative of the pupil leading to the understanding of the image.

At the theoretical level, we deal with paradigmatic changes defined as 'the visual turn' and 'the affective turn', and we use them in the research part as a basis for the analysis and interpretation of the presented data. We relate the results of the study to the current small revision of the curriculum in examples of outputs pedagogicaly aimed at teaching throw image.

The study refers to visual literacy.
