Publication at First Faculty of Medicine |
2021

Abstract

During the course of treatment in 2016-2021, the pattern of substance use changed, her psychological and physical state improved, and her social situation stabilised. The aim of the case report is to show the patient's development over the five-year treatment period and to capture a picture of the patient in its full comprehensiveness.

The case study covers the development of the personality and treatment of the patient during a five-year period of early adulthood, in which intensive treatment and support from medical and non-medical professionals resulted in the patient's freedom from stimulant dependence and her stabilisation.
