Abstract
The annual meeting of Czech and Slovak Romani studies researchers, in 2022 dedicated to the current topic of the war in Ukraine and its impact on the Roma. The focus of the conference provided a space for the first professional reflection on the situation of Romani refugees in the Czech Republic and Slovakia from the perspective of academics.
It was complemented by panel discussions with state and non-state actors on the response of the Slovak and Czech governments and the work of organisations on the ground.
