Abstract
In this issue, we present manuscripts that capture the social impacts of the covid-19 pandemic, this time with a focus on a crisis of institutions. The common theme of the studies published in this monothematic issue is, therefore, a view of the pandemic as a situation which fundamentally impacts the conditions of the functioning of social institutions, whether they are institutions ensuring the protection of residents, family or schools.
