Laterna Magika During the Period of Normalization: A Case of Cultural Dislocation and Defence

Abstract

The study is based on primary research of the Laterna magika archive. It focuses on Laterna magica during the period of Czechoslovak normalization as a "strange place" in which performances were created that continued the aesthetics of the 1960s.
