Archaeology at last: A Journey into the Primeval Times as a precursor to the digital imagination

Abstract

The study examines Zeman's film Journey to Prehistory from an unusual theoretical perspective - from the point of view of media theory and philosophy, it focuses on the cinematic trick as the basis for a different imagination. The text straddles the boundaries between media philosophy, the history of Czechoslovakian kienamtography and the art of printmaking.
