Abstract
The chapter of tthe book "Raul Bopp: Had Norato" deals with the Brazilian anthropophagic movemet as a specific form of Brazilian Modernism. It touches the history of the representation of Indians in European thought and compares the symbolic figure of the Avant garde anthropophagist with the cannibal of European avant garde movements.
It studies the Cobra Norato poem in the context of Brazilian anthropophagic movement and in the last part analyzes this work of importance.
