The lecture concerned two groups of Czechs who maintained ties with their compatriots overseas. Given that the Czechoslovak government was not interested in them, it allowed these "non-profit organizations" to fill this blank space.
The lecture mainly presented the mutual visits of the Sokols (from the USA in the Czechia and from Czechia in the USA) as well as a Catholic institution such as the Leopoldinensverin, which was actively involved in sending priests (missionaries) to their compatriots.
