Characterization of binders used for pre-modern plasters in the everchanging urban environmen

Abstract

The projects aims at investigating lime and gypsum plasters employed in Middle Bronze Age Cypriot buildings. A plaster is a building material employed to improve the physical, mechanical and aesthetic properties of the surface it is applied on.

We are going to analyse plasters from walls, floors, and hydraulic structures.
