n Austria, three surveys on distance learning were carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic: a representative survey of ten to 18-year-old students (N=510) and their parents (N=510), a qualitative survey of ten families with children between six and 12 years and a quantitative teacher survey (N=212). A comparative evaluation of this data allows a differentiated consideration of the challenges and positive experiences of distance learning.
Based on the empirical results, recommendations are formulated as to how students, teachers and parents can be better prepared for similar situations in the future and how teaching and learning with digital media can be promoted.
