Abstract
A fixed combination of analgesics in one tablet enhances analgesic efficacy and reduces side effects of the individual components. This expands the portfolio of analgesics to treat acute and chronic pain.
Nowadays we have new combination dexketoprofen/tramadol and paracetamol/ibuprofen. The article concludes by describing the practical use of composite analgesics in the treatment of pain.
