Enhanced transmissibility, infectivity, and immune resistance of the SARS-CoV-2 omicron XBB.1.5 variant

Abstract

Experiments showed increased infectivity of XBB.1.5 compared with XBB.1, which can be associated with the acquisition of S:S486P substitution.
